day 2

i read a bit of information about blogs and learned that a blog needs a topic or a point of focus and that bloggers need to be interested in writing and surfing the web at length. additionally i learned of the INVISIBLE WEB and that typical search engines scan only the tip of the internet iceberg. the metaphoric model used in the article was an onion.
another picture has been added...a young male moose i met a short while ago while walking the dogs .
when i view my own blog there is a "next blog" tab that opens another person's blog..always a different one...not sure why that tab is placed there but i use it now and then to see other blogs.

day 1 continued

i have somehow put numerals and a bullet point into my photo. i wont bother trying to fix that but instead concentrate on not doing it again. i added the blue heron photo just to see how the add a gadget feature worked.

day 1

i have navigated to 1 blog to view the experience of a friend out west. now i am going to create my own blog and record the process to see what results. 1st i created a gmail account to use as a gateway to my blog with the google website. i read the tutorial and here i am with my 1st posting.

• 1. i have visited the toolbar and as you can see i changed the size of the type from small to normal to large..ok i guess thats easy enough on to colors thats simple too...next its links...hmmm...i dont get that one yet so i will skip it for now. then theres the usual flush left center or right column choices...mine is flush left.now we have numbered list,bullet points,

     block quote, spell check, add image....ok i will try that...i have this image of calvin and the bird on the desktop so ...oops still in blockquote...

  ok...click on add image and it works like ebay...email attachments...etc....very easy... here it is...next is add video..i havent one to add...next is remove formatting from section...i guess that puts the text in a default to normal sized print...ok...
